[Current Music |"Contemplation" by Josh One]

so i recently discovered an artist/producer/dj named Josh One (you may have already heard of him). this dude is amazing. he mixes r&b and soul, downtempo house, hiphop, and triphop into an amazing array of sound. this is also the dude behind the remixed version of Nappy Roots' "Po' Folks". music.download.com lists similar artists as Tribe Called Quest, King Britt, Black Eyed Peas and Inner City, so if you like any of those artists, i suggest giving this dude a listen. hell, i suggest giving him a listen anyways. dude is dope. maybe you'll hear his stuff up on SLS Radio sometime soon. ^_^

(playing backwards, as always)

i ripped a couple of my brother's CDs last night, when i realized some of mine were missing. so i went into his room, and ganked a few of his in return. Fugees. Zion I. Rage Against the Machine. Freestylers. The Primeridian. too bad i already put up the new playlist. i want you all to hear the awesomeness of The Primeridian. my brother saw them live at some spot in San Jose a while back, bought the CD, and i fell in love. my next playlist will definitely have some Primeridian on it.

the current playlist is kind of some "non-traditional" hiphop sounds that i'm currently loving. definitely not that mainstream, over-saturated, Clear Channel bullshit.
